Louisiana has some good news, i swear!

there's a lot of talk about what our kids need, and most of it is about punishment and allowing root causes to go unaddressed. i'm under no allusions that this investment will be perfect or solve everything, but this is definitely good news.

it feels like it's all burning down (in many places, literally). but there is wisdom about how to manage the burn in most of our lineages and a common threat can bring about a unified popular response. it's clear that what is being done to us is killing us. if we decide to say stop, what can go on in its place?
